2024 Vannevar Bush Faculty Fellow

Prof. Mehrdad Jazayeri, Professor and Director of Education, Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT, was named as a 2024 Vannevar Bush Faculty Fellow, the DoD’s prestigious single-investigator award, acknowledging his ambitious and boundary-defying research. Prof. Jazayeri plans to use the VBFF award to integrate ideas from cognitive science, neuroscience, and machine learning with experimental data in humans, animals, and computer models to develop a computational understanding of cognitive and emotional intelligence.
